HUMAN FACTORS SKILLS TRAINING
Our Safety in Mind Course aims to introduce participants to the many ways that the 'human factor' can influence safety. The other objectives of the course are to provide some tools (behaviours) they can choose to use and lastly to influence their attitudes to safety.
During the course they are encouraged to recognise some of the areas that have been discussed that they would like to improve. However changing requires them to develop their skills in the particular area. Knowing what to do is not the same as actually doing it. As with all skills they need an opportunity to practice and receive effective feedback to improve.
As the Safety in Mind Course aims only to provide knowledge and affect attitude, an opportunity is needed for those wishing to develop 'human factor' skills.
We can offer tailored training for all areas of 'human factors' skills e.g. effective communication, assertive behaviour, situation awareness training, improve decision making, leadership etc.
