DECISION MAKING & CRISIS MANAGEMENT SKILLS TRAINING
Research has shown that an individual's or a team's effectiveness in handling crisis or making decisions can be increased with specific training.
In aviation much use is made of simulators to carry out this type of training. However as many Safety Critical industries do not have high
fidelity simulators other methods of improving the skills of their decision makers have to sought. It has been found that full simulation
is not a necessary condition to train decision making effectively what is essential is that the the activity employed in the training has
cognitive fidelity.
To increase the skills facing the decision makers in your organization, our course is adapted to incorporate the challenges they face making
use of techniques pioneered by the University of Aberdeen and practiced by organizations such as The Scottish Prison Service and London Fire
Brigade.
