The last seven years in BA he was part of the Training Standards Team responsible for setting and maintaining training standards on the Boeing 747 Fleet.
Since the late 1980s Rick's training involvement expanded to include the initial development, introduction and presentation of British Airways’ Crew Resource Management, Human Factors courses. Over that time he worked on all BA’s 'Human Factors' projects gaining approval from the CAA as a CRM Trainer and Assessor.
Since retiring from BA he has been working as one of the Principal Directors of Omega Training Solutions where he has long experience of working across the world with other airlines and a variety of industries developing and presenting both 'Human Factors' and Leadership training programmes.
Omega Training Solutions has a pool of qualified trainers to draw from depending on the needs of the organisation we are working with and the type of training they require. All our trainers are current or retired Training Captains with many years of experience in both technical and Human Factors training. Most have also delivered courses to other safety critical industries and appreciate the importance of relating aviations experience to that of the industry they are working with.
